Instead of just presenting information, many in the media -- by choice of words in stories, titles on headlines--- attempt to manipulate the voting public's feelings about a particular issue, political candidate, or party. When this happens power is taken away from the people and seized by elites. The health of a democracy is endangered. Propaganda is used for power. A free and fair discussion of principles and ideas is shut down. Perception of reality is skewed.

The more Obama copies FDR, the more likely he will cause a Great Depression
Big government intervention by Hoover and FDR was the main cause of the Great Depression. Now Obama is embracing the same big government intervention.
